The ancient Greek goddess Artemis was the young goddess of the hunt, patroness, and protector of the wilderness. She was the twin sister of Apollo, who was a personification of the Sun, so Artemis later became a personification of the Moon. That explains her closeness to witchcraft. Artemis chose nymphs as a gift from her father Zeus to keep her company, mountains, and wild forests at her disposal. Poseidon, the god of the sea, forged her arrows and a silver bow. Artemis was always accompanied by various animals.

One day, when Artemis was resting in one of the remote places in the forest, she met a tiger, who was gifted with unusual powers. Tiger was ready to walk beside her, to protect her from her enemies, to light her way with the light of the moon. She accepted him. And so, Artemis found a new companion, brave, unpredictable,
confident, like a reflection of herself.
