This moody shot is the front of the massive Harvard Glacier, located in College Fjord, Prince William Sound, Alaska.

Harvard Glacier is the largest tidewater glacier in Prince William Sound and it is a beast. It is up to 300 ft deep and 1.5 mile wide.

The patterns formed by the blue ice and the black moraine were mesmerizing as the early evening sun danced between heavy grey clouds.

Glaciers are the silent sentinels of centuries. Will we listen to what they are telling us with increasing urgency?
