Inside every woman there is a powerful energy which cannot be contained. It's that passionate disturbance within us that makes us persevere with all our strength, yet walk calmly in the face of adversity. It comes from love, pain and intuition. No matter how others have tried to silence our voices. No matter for how long we've been told to hide it. The truth is that our flame will never be tamed. For it's rooted in our connection to mother earth and from her we have flourished. With her we have learned to be reborn and rise as tall as trees. As leaves we dance in the wind. And as water we start rainstorms. It is united as sisters that our divine energy, our essence, will spread. It is our nature.

The intent of this collection is to show the different forms of the feminine essence through the eyes and perspectives of 16 women Photographers. Sometimes delicate, sometimes mighty, yet always divine.

It's also a way to bring attention to portrait photography as a truly powerful form of art in its own right. It's a reflection of our emotions, of our fears, doubts, desires… It's by seeing ourselves in others that we become aware and conscious. Portrait photography is not only impactful, it is transformative.
