The Shield of Sekhmet is inspired by the Kemetic Goddess Sekhmet which means “the One who loves Ma'at.” Ma’at is the Goddess of truth, justice and balance.
With this piece, the butterfly is symbolic of the power in ancestral knowledge and its transformation within us.
