The magic of being under the stars never fades for me. Being able to capture that moment is always special, and something I appreciate more and more as time goes on.
I'd been to this spot a few times before, not always with the best conditions, but it's still such a great place. Not only did I catch the Milky Way, but bioluminescence too? It was a dream come true. This night was really special, as I came out here with a new and dear friend at the time. We had so much fun laughing as we chased some epic shots. I was shooting some self portraits, and really glad my camera didn’t topple over in the waves as the tide rose. I got completely soaked from my knees down. I was freezing, but never seem to notice in the moment.
As the year comes to an end, I’m reminded of how much growth I’ve had over this past year. I picked up a hobby I never imagined would take me where it did, and it lead me to some of the most amazing experiences and people. Words can never express how truly grateful I am.
