Crafted using p5.js and Adobe After Effects, I combine generative art and motion graphics to express this theme.

In Between Days

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24th, I have had to move into my mother’s house, because she has a basement that can be used as a shelter during rocket attacks. This is a relatively safe place. Everything merged into one long moment, and I started keeping a diary: textual and visual. It helped me structure things. 

Such a personal story. And you can catch a piece of me. A really bad times, when a photography saved my mind.

PLASTICS is a collection of 333 generative artworks. Each image is a unique composition using isolated stock photos that contain plastic, rubber & liquid material. The works are arranged using p5.js and rendered in a web browser. Once compiled, they are algorithmically titled to iterate soap formulas & shampoo chemical ingredients.

Broadsides draws a connection between the theme of the Faustian contract and the allure of the NFT world in a satire of the contemporary web3 space.

Within its metadata, each token contains fractured glimpses of a story from different ‘authors’, loosely based on the legend of Dr Faustus and his deal with the devil.
