I'm a toddler with a beard living a life unlived, a child unseen, a weak heart beats fast inside of a tight chest, not for love but just in fear. It seems safe and snug, the confinements of a woodwork. All evil outside but none can see me.
When a child is scared, it needs to be held, in the arms of a gentle self with a gaze that's sincere. A sound is heard, footsteps which come near. No way to escape as a voice calls "Dear".
Now the darkness is washed away with a flood of a thousand beams of light. Ugly faces gather around, no one smiles they all sneer.
But myselves deliver me out into a world that is so unclear, with a promise that it's worth living in, if only I could find one peer. I'm not strong, I am bad, full of hope and some love for the monsters who dare to come near. They might sting, bite or claw out of hate or shed a pretentious tear. I'll let them close, all them goats so they can undoubtedly hear, when I growl in pain "NOW THAT I'M HERE..."
