METAGRAPH ANIMATION #20 // This audiovisual work is based on the eponymous vector-based digital drawing composed in 1999. The original drawing was created in Adobe Illustrator 8 on a Power Macintosh 8600 using a Wacom tablet. The drawing has been animated and reborn on the blockchain as an audiovisual NFT 19 years later, accompanied by an original soundscape composed from a variety of samples arranged in a stream-of-consciousness-style pastiche. This work is informed by a diverse range of sources, including Hard-edge painting, Op Art and the work of the Constructivists.
