Chapter IV: Collective Rituals

Inspired by the dream that sparked the project, this series presents meltdowns not as solitary events but as shared, almost sacred experiences. Figures converge in scenes that recall liturgy, exorcism, and communal catharsis.
These are not depictions of weakness—they are visual rituals of rupture, resilience, and transformation. A collective meltdown becomes a rite of truth, where vulnerability turns into resistance.

This project emerged from personal experience, anthropological research, and a symbolic dream.
After studying changelings and the historic persecution of neurodivergent individuals, I witnessed a woman in meltdown—met with silent judgment.
That night, I dreamed of a vast fresco of collective sensory crisis.
From that vision came Changelings, a baroque, high-resolution AI series exploring the true horror: not the meltdown, but society’s refusal to understand it.
