I think there is beauty wherever you choose to see it.

What is 'ugly' is truly beautiful in its own way. This is why I believe our society is so flawed in deeming certain things or attributes beautiful without room for uniqueness.

I am often overwhelmed by the ‘most beautiful’ areas of the country. The amount of tourism, people and footprints at these areas often takes away from that experience for me.

Instead, I’ll wander off somewhere much less trafficked or maybe not as dramatic. I’ll look for a different way to experience these popular spots. I’ll look for the angle or perspective most people haven’t seen.

That’s my favorite, choosing to see beauty in the unconventional.
