"A hedonistic opium den of beautiful mythical savages..."

I feel an affinity with big cats. Like the women I draw, they are beautiful and fierce in equal measure. White tigers in particular feel like mythical creatures. An anomaly of nature, a product of captive breeding, they are unlikely to survive in the wild.

I was inspired to create this white tiger piece after learning more about the strange lives of Vegas magicians Siegfried and Roy. The pair famously performed with white tigers until one of them decided enough was enough.

This piece is my reimagining of how their white tigers would be living out their vegas years in a parallel universe. A hedonistic opium den of beautiful mythical savages.
