Created in early 2022 with VQGAN/CLIP, this is arguably my most prized GAN creation. It is also historically significant, both to my personal history as an artist, and to the Ai art movement.

This IMG2IMG piece, along with 4 other VQGAN creations were displayed at the San Diego Public Central Library for three months in late 2022. The exhibit was the first display of VQGAN Ai art in the California public library system, and it was the first time many Californians had direct visual access to Ai assisted art.

The cultural significance is yet to be fully determined, but the state sanctioned library's implicit acceptance of Ai imagery as art is an important milestone in the evolution of art and technology.
