The Core Device is an ongoing series of works made with 3D modelling software that represent the development of consciousness from pre-birth to adulthood. Within each work is a single starting point, which becomes slowly smothered and covered in all kinds of modifiers like decimation, enlightenment and solidification. Each work is made from the mandalaesque visuals that appear behind closed eyes when meditating or when using 'Dream Machines', a lighting effect that creates similar visuals to the artwork. The eye is a recurring visual throughout, and is often used to obscure and conceal the inner core.
