I dreamed of exploring Patagonia for years, so when I saw flights were on sale for Santiago back in 2015, I bought one right away. After months of trip planning, the friend I was gonna go with bailed last minute. I almost cancelled the trek since I was a little worried to do it alone. In the end, I decided to go solo and it ended up being the most incredible and empowering experience. I made a last minute decision to book a sea kayaking adventure at lago Grey in Torres del Paine where took this photo of the glacier. It sat on an old hard drive for years until I recently found it again.

I wasn't a very talented photographer back then... This is pretty much the only photo that was worth editing, which I turned into this composite. This piece represents the courage it took for me to start feeling strong enough to hike & camp by myself. Collector will receive a signed metal print.
