I've done the 80km Mount Assiniboine trek so many times, but conditions were never great every time I hiked all the way up to the view point before dawn. I spent so much time and money trying to get that shot. I never lost hope, so I kept going every year.

My last larch season trip was the first time I got lucky shooting sunrise. This is one of my favorite places in the Canadian rockies and very special to me as it was one of the first treks I did where I discovered my love for mountains and solitude.
