The Golden Temple  'abode of God', is a gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India.It is the preeminent spiritual site of Sikhism.

The temple shines bright on a cold winter night . The temple , that is made of pure Gold , thereby gets the name " The Golden Temple".

The temple complex is visited by over 100,000 people daily and has a Langar (community kitchen) which feeds over 50.000 people everyday for free.
