Tulip Mania
The history of Tulips in the Netherlands is marked by Tulip Mania in the 17th century, where tulips gained immense economic value. This tulip craze left a lasting impact on Dutch art, particularly in Still-life Paintings, where Tulips became symbols of prosperity, transience, and the cycle of life and death.
With the Post-Photography Series "Tulip Mania" I try to take you back to an ancient, especially noble, Dutch living room.
