While documenting the campus of the Tibetan Children's Village, I noticed a quiet student alone in his classroom learning to read Tibetan. The TCV was created in the 1960s to support the children who flee Tibet seeking safety and a future in exile. Educating younger generations about their ancestry is vital for preserving the various cultural layers and heritage of the Tibetan community.
