The arcane, the supernatural, the occult. I had my first experiences of these ideas in front of an old CRT, playing games like Doom, Diablo and Baldur's Gate. Sitting late at night, trying to peer through the pixels and understand the pure madness happening on screen has seared into my mind as a formative experience growing up. Having an awakening to an analog world by digital means is ever present in my work, but this feels like the earliest I can remember it happening to me.

“the_relic” collection is an ode to this experience, which I think is shared by many who grew up in the digital age, molded by alternative mass media.
