Art for Humanity: Limited Edition Fundraising for Breast Cancer Awareness
In honor of International Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we continue our Art for Humanity initiative with a new and innovative fundraising exhibition, featuring Limited Edition artworks designed to support the Milica Women's Center in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.
This exhibition introduces a modern fundraising model, allowing donors to purchase artwork through blockchain technology. When buying an artwork, donors receive a permanent, verifiable record of the transaction, as well as updates on the artwork’s future journey. Upon completion of the purchase, 30% of the proceeds go directly to the artist, while 70% are donated to the Milica Women's Center, ensuring their vital work continues.
The participating artists, alumni of the Supercluster program "Web3 - New Business Model in the Art World", include a diverse group of formally trained artists, university professors, and visual innovators. Each artist has created unique limited edition pieces for this event, offering collectors a chance to support a cause while obtaining exceptional artwork.
The artworks are priced consistently with the humanitarian focus of the event. Donors can choose to make a larger contribution and receive a unique piece from the first exhibition, or donate a smaller amount to select an artwork from the limited series in this exhibition.
Participating Artists: Maja Simic, Jelena Bešir, Zorica Jovanovic Ignjatov, Dragan Ignjatov, Dragana Vujovic Mihic, Ivana Djokic Saunderson, Ivana Ehrensvärd, and Daniel Glid.
This exhibition is a unique opportunity to combine art and philanthropy, where every purchase directly supports the fight against breast cancer.
Maja Simic
Maja Simić's artistic works explore the inner journey of self-discovery, using symbols such as birds, feathers, and butterflies to express themes of freedom, time, and spiritual elevation. Her award-winning pieces reflect a profound introspective struggle and transformation, drawing on universal archetypes and personal experiences.
Ivana Djokic-Saunderson
Though Ivana's career has been largely theoretical, rooted in film theory and the translation of philosophy and art, through two decades of daily photography, she has discovered an intimate and introspective form of artistic expression, where light, shadow, and hidden beauty quietly unfold.
Jelena Besir
Jelena's work breathes new life into past animations, merging them with new sound to reflect her evolving insights and spontaneous creative process.
Zorica Jovanovic Ignjatov i Dragan Ignjatov
ZiDajn's work is a profound exploration of the self and the world, where Zorica delves into the abstract, energetic essence of the body, and Dragan captures the ineffable nature of human connection and the desire to merge into a unified whole.
Dragana Vujovic-Mihic
With a background in geophysics and a passion for photography, Dragana’s work captures the breathtaking beauty of Earth and life from above, erasing everyday trivialities through the lens of a drone, much like the expansive view she once experienced while soaring in a glider.
Daniel Glid
Daniel Glid, aka ZEROREZERO, is a visual artist and designer who blends over 30 years of experience with innovative AI techniques, creating striking monochromatic GIF portraits that explore the essence of femininity through digital artistry.
Ivana Ehrensvärd
Ivana Ehrensvärd creates artworks that hover between figuration and abstraction, generating optical illusions that deceive our perception, while intense colors conceal subtle emotions and inner turmoil.
