“Cachivaches,” a colloquial Spanish term for miscellaneous objects often considered worthless or junk, explores the aesthetic and structural dynamics in discarded objects and urban detritus. The series highlights the paradoxical relationship between chaos and order within these elements. Using a square format for each image imposes a geometric constraint, juxtaposing the organic disorder of the objects with rigid frames and encouraging a reevaluation of the inherent organization within chaos.
