AI, shall we train?
AI as a creation partner?
What does AI understand about our past?
Does AI think forward?
Can AI create?
Will AI steal my job?
Is AI capable of feelings?
Does AI have the power to reveal things?
Can AI surpass humans?
AI: Let’s stay in control!
Artificial intelligence is now part of our everyday lives. Its fields of application are countless, with more and more companies integrating it into their processes. The general public has also become acquainted with AI, thanks to the democratization of text and image generation programs. A new era seems to be opening up for mankind.
It's difficult to gauge the scope of this revolution, which has really only just begun. On the one hand, critics worry about the numbing of our brains, jobs being threatened, and the violation of our privacy and democratic values. On the other, the fanatics of progress, omniscience and economy of means, sing the virtues of this new technology.
In this battle of opinions, the exhibition invites us to reflect, to delve in a series of selected artworks taking a singular look at AI, its ins and outs. The ten artists and collectives presented have a conceptual use of AI: beyond being a simple tool for crafting images with prompts, AI and the questions it raises are the very subject of their works.
If AI answers our questions, the artist questions us.
