Guy Overfelt | "Untitled (taser)", 1998

Artwork information

Conceptual artist Guy Overfelt had his mentor Tony Labat shoot him with an Air Taser. One probe hit Overfelt's chest and the other his nose, piercing through his nostril and causing him to fall to the ground. He quickly removed the probes from his nose and chest, got up, and was able to walk away.

Overfelt is represented by Ever Gold [Projects] and has been written about in Artforum & NY Times
