Triggered by moving to  a new city, I started this project in 2013 with the primary purpose of documenting and highlighting the quirky architectural characteristics of overlooked structures and spaces in otherwise unremarkable areas. The process of removing unnecessary distractions from the composition isolates the object and removes context, inviting the viewer to focus on the simple shapes created by form and shadow. Scattered Clouds refers to the ideal weather for making these pictures.
