A community-sourced gallery of objects. I started creating this series in the mire of 2020. 

I asked anyone willing to sit for a portrait with an object - a physical artifact - that anchors them to reality. While making the portraits I recorded our conversation.  

Objective is a meditation on the nature and function of artifacts - things we might be wrong to consider the ephemera in our lives. Perhaps we are the ephemera in theirs. 

I'm currently still making portraits in this body of work.
