Whenever I arrive in a city I've never been to before I always visit the local stores to get a sense of the countries visual culture as seen through conspicuous consumption. Whilst visiting art galleries and museums is all fine, you'll more likely find me perusing the aisles of the local neighbourhood store. 

Finding beauty in these often overlooked everyday consumer goods, this collection takes inspiration from the phenomenal success of the Kit Kat chocolate bar in Japan.
