Foundation launched as an NFT marketplace in early February 2021, and hit $1M in sales within the first two weeks. We’ve supported over 200+ artists including Zach Lieberman, Kim Laughton, Sarah Zucker, Shawna X, and Dom Hofmann, the cofounder of Vine. We also had a breakout sale with the creator of viral internet meme, Nyan Cat. Soon, we’ll be onboarding a roster of incredible musicians into our growing community.
Foundation’s Communications Director will oversee all communications efforts, including establishing our voice, media relations, social media, product narratives, and content policies.
We’re looking for an exceptional storyteller with a background in art, culture, and technology to help us shape the narrative of Foundation in this highly impactful and emerging space. A curiosity about the future of crypto and NFTs is a plus.
Develop and lead our overall communications strategy, ensuring it’s aligned with the company’s goals and the needs of our creator, collector, and developer community
Create a brand voice style guide, and ensure that it’s implemented in the best possible ways across all communication platforms—including the website, blog, social, newsletters, and more
Identify unique and compelling stories within the community that we want to highlight
Shape media coverage and public perception of the company
Respond proactively to key cultural moments in a creator-first and memorable way
In collaboration with product and outreach teams, develop narratives about new features
