It was July 4th in New York City, all around me fireworks exploded across the sky. The night was getting late and I longed for a better view. Above me stood the tallest building by roof height in the western hemisphere, Central Park Tower. I started to climb and knew instantly the moment was mine. As daylight's first breath kissed the sky, I looked down on Columbus Circle from 1550 feet above NYC. Everything I needed was in that moment, the night had passed and just like the sun I was alive.
