'Polar Bear'

"I lay on the cold metal deck of the icebreaker, my home for the previous week. I pointed my lens out of a hawsehole & was greeted with this view, only feet from my face. A male polar bear had stood up on his hind legs & we were suddenly eye to eye, allowing me to capture this intimate portrait.” - Shannon Wild
