I felt some sadness as I sat through the rain and the storm after travelling half way across the world to capture this magnificent place. I had visions of a completely different image. Although hard to accept, I got my camera out and started shooting through the darkness.

What I had forgotten, was that the most trying conditions bring their own beauty, and this image, naturally black and white through the storm, is my reminder to always be enchanted by what nature presents, no matter what difficulties lie ahead.
