A cold morning on my first visit to the famous Loch Ard Gorge, Great Ocean Road on Australia's East Coast.
I had dreams of a magnificent sunrise at this spot. I had waited 5 years to visit and now was my chance. Mother Nature had other ideas for me however, and when I arrived I was greeted by a fair amount of mood and a lot of rain. I wasn't going to let this stop me .. I had just travelled through the night to get here.
What I came away with was one of my favourite moody shots to date. The intense blues and greys in the sky were more than what I could have wished for, and I am so glad nature throws these curve balls at me sometimes to help me realise there is beauty in everything.
