My plan was to visit Hanle Observatory in India near the end of the moonlight cycle. The goal was to take advantage of the lower light pollution on a new moon night, as that provides the ideal conditions for astrophotography.
After almost three hours of photography, my camera captured nearly 400 individual images of The Milky Way, which were combined to form a magical, multi-leveled, circular pattern, no less than a cosmic marvel.
The composite image of 400 photos reveals that each star has a unique colour that has been represented by an arc path. The stars also seem to revolve around the pole star, which has been used as a compass point for centuries.
I named this picture "Circle of life" to indicate how this shape is so central to life and light!
