Passage

This still and quiet trail scene was captured on a crisp winter morning in one of California's southern oak woodlands along state highway 101. The main focus of the photo highlights a grand stone staircase, as well as a humble footpath, that travelers are presented with on their journey to an unseen destination beyond the trees ahead. As a regular reader of fantasy fiction novels, this image was created with many of those adventures in mind.
