Māra by Nuwan Shilpa Hennayake
In Theravada Buddhist philosophy, Paranimmita Vasavatti is the highest plane of the heavens within the Desire Realm. The beings who inhabit this realm are presumed to have subsequent power over all other being’s creations and sensual pleasures, leading up to their plane. The ruler of this realm is often portrayed as the fabled Māra, the personification of antagonistic forces to enlightenment.
