Description

This work is a form of "Halloween" as I have always envisioned it.
Halloween originates from the ancient Celtic festival of Sawin.
The Celts divided the year into summer and winter; October 31 marked the end of summer and the New Year began on November 1.
For the Celts, the extremely cold winter was associated with death, such as starvation or freezing to death.
The festival of Sawin was an occasion to "entertain the souls of the dead as they return to this world with offerings, to give thanks for the summer harvest, and to pray for winter's peace and quiet.
It is similar to Japan's "Obon" in that there is the concept of reincarnation and the welcoming and offering of the spirits of the dead.

Halloween, which has now become established in Japan as a festival to enjoy dressing up in costumes, is one form of this festival.
So I have incorporated a lot of fun into this work.
