An abstract long-exposure monochrome photographic take on the Sage Gateshead, the exquisite music venue designed by Norman Foster. A previous version of this shot showing only some of the 3000 stainless steel panels which form the roof of the structure won itself a Commended place in the 2011 Landscape Photographer of the Year (UK) competition. Amazingly, it became the first in a triptych of black and white Sage long exposures of mine focusing on this architecture to be featured in the LPOTY series of books and accompanying London National Theatre exhibitions.
