Once upon a time, there was a lion who fell in love with a human girl.

The lion, completely smitten with her beauty and intelligence, asked her to marry him.

She didn’t want to marry a lion, but

「I would be honored to be your wife, but
This soft skin of mine is more vulnerable than you think.
So let me cut your nails and fangs with these scissors.
Then I will gladly accept your offer.」

The lion loved her so much that he clipped his own claws and pulled out his fangs as she requested.

Having lost the threat, the lion was no longer afraid, so she refused his love.

Having lost their weapons, the lions could no longer even hunt their prey.
