When I looked around, all I could see were jagged sandstone walls and rock outcroppings. The ground beneath my feet was grainy and shifting, as if I were walking on a giant sand dune. Out of surprise, I realized that I was inside a huge sandworm.

How had I gotten here? I couldn't remember. All I knew was that I had to find a way out. The walls were closing in on me. I could hear the creature's massive body creaking and groaning as it burrowed into the desert sand.

Finally, I saw a faint glimmer of light in the distance. I began to run toward it, ignoring the sharp pain in my legs from the rocky ground. But I fell. The walls of the sandworm closed around me, trapping me in a tight space. Fear and panic threatened to overwhelm me, but I knew I had to fight. The light was still there, shining brightly and beckoning me forward.
