Heaven (1994-2021)

1994

We were but children
making beds
together.
Alarms yet to ring
for us.
Our time thereafter
soon came,
as the floor
made way
for graves.

2021

An empty bed
waits
to be filled
again.
Whilst walls
sing memories.
Whispered names
of those
almost
forgotten.
