The art making process of this (basically a combinatory psychic portrait of myself and my brother Christopher who took his life in 2018): A savage reclamation of parts of older figurative painting works fuzed with the textural anomalies of photo-documented abstractions on cold pressed steel. I note here the great technical influences on my work from the pre-digital age: The Chilean Poet Pablo Neruda and visual artists Max Ernst, Raoul Hausmann, Man Ray, and Robert Rauschenberg.
