As I walk through the by-lanes of Worli, my mind wonders to think how many prayers this church would have received, fulfilled and denied.
Places of worship are entitled to permanence even in ever changing shanty towns and shape shifting settlements. They remain a constant social meeting place both in times of celebration and tragedy.
