Gazing up into the ancient branches of a tree over a thousand years old, her trunk holding a million stories that only our First Nations People can hear, the Milky Way glistening above and coming alive as the evening ends, her core lined up and the branches holding her in a hug.

This beautiful Boab tree is in Kununurra in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia.

These trees are truly majestic, their intertwined branches and twigs playing a gentle tune in the cool evening air, sounds of the ocean rustling above.

The traditional owners of the East Kimberley are the Miriwoong Gajerrong and it was a complete honour being there.

20% of the first collected AstroTree will be donated into the arts community in Kununurra, Western Australia.
