Mama Nina, goddess of fire and volcanoes. She is a passionate and powerful goddess who can be both destructive and creative. She is the bringer of warmth and keeper of life, but when tested she can also destroy everything in her path. Mama Nina is a force to be reckoned with, and she demands respect and offering. She is a powerful protector of her people, and she will defend them from all harm.

The Sassy Crayon explores harmony in contrast using traditional fine art processes and digital media manipulation. Combining old and new, vivid and desaturated, light and dark, and fusing the past with the present.
