Over the last few months I have been visited by this bobcat.
I normally see it in the evenings after I get home from work just waiting in the yard or the yard of the house next to me.
It stares at me and watches me as I get out of my car and then will run off when I go inside.
Often times it feels like its checking in on me and making sure I am doing okay.
I have tried taking photos of this bobcat before with no luck and I mostly find myself distracted and just enjoying the moment.
There is something truly special about staring into a wild animals eyes and feeling like you know it for the first time.
It is a feeling only John J. Dunbar could relate to.
I think about the animal often and hope to see it again sometime soon.
