Through ferocious hurricanes and the tumultuous annals of history, the Bolivar Lighthouse served its peninsula with strength and pride. Its tall silhouette contrasted distinctly by the electric hues of a south Texas sunset. As we watched the light fade, we imagined our life’s ship being guided by the illuminated tower. Through rough waters and storms of our own, we felt lost at sea. Seeing that streaking beam reminded us of the resilience it took to find our way once again.
