Description

Before it dives into the water a kingfisher will perch above a stream, river, or lake and watch the water, waiting for a fish to swim into view, bobbing its heads backwards and forwards to gauge the exact position of a fish, while keeping its body perfectly still.

It spots a fish, and with a few wingbeats dives headfirst at a speed of up to 25 mph, folding its wings tight against the sides of its body as it plunges into the water and catches a fish in the blink of an eye.

When i had Anxiety, I imagined it like the fish, swimming in that alien world which is my soul, and I'm the Hunter, the Kingfisher perch from above waiting for that anxiety in form of fish swim below, so i could fold my wings tight against my body and dive head first, like and arrow catching and killing that Anxiety inside a sea of thoughts
