Who invented TV? Few know that John Logie Baird (1888–1946) is “The First Father of Television”. Baird invented mechanical television and was the first person ever to receive a recognizable moving TV image, a milestone in media history that is now immortalized by this NFT. In 1930, Baird launched the Baird Televisor, the first commercial model available for purchase by the public in the UK for £18. This invaluable set can be found at Canadian media icon Moses Znaimer’s MZTV Museum of Television.
