Resignation and acceptance become the ultimate sacrifice that every Japanese is called to bear for the sake of Japan. Even if a flower is upside down, the image of it must make sense, it must be a reason to surrender. In my studio works I never seeks perfection, on the contrary, the disturbance that some images can carry, makes them pregnant with meaning for me.
