My first time creating this artwork was back in 2018. During that time, I primarily used colored pencils to create art. Now that I have an ipad with procreate, I thought it would be neat to recreate some of my old drawings.
This artwork in particular deals with themes of existentialism and wonderment. I wanted to evoke feelings of searching for your soul, or your "true self". Sometimes I wonder if we are aliens to our planet Earth. At other times, I contemplate the vastness and infinite characteristics of our universe. Overall, I wanted this artwork to embody our sense of wonderment and questioning of ourselves, questioning our universe, and contemplating the meaning behind our existence....
