Artist Statement:
Injustice in human rights persists globally, despite progress in some societies. Women’s rights, in particular, have been historically undervalued worldwide. They are often objectified and judged by superficial standards of beauty and purity. Even in art, women are often seen first through a lens of aesthetics rather than substance. This narrow view reduces women to their physicality, ignoring their intellect and humanity. As a human and an artist, I aim to shed light on this reality through photography. I hope my work prompts reflection and discussion, challenging society to confront its biases and shortcomings.
